![]() ![]() I strongly doubt that Hasbro would release a figure resembling this particular version of the character, even with it being Snake Eyes. While there was a “Training Snake Eyes” in the works for a Resolute themed comic pack, it bore little resemblance to how the character appeared in the actual Resolute feature, so for all intents and purposes, no rumors or images of a Resolute-accurate Snake Eyes (Arashikage Student) figure have been seen. No images were found Snake Eyes (Arashikage Student) Joe: Resolute 7-Pack, due in August, 2010 UPDATE – Snake Eyes has been confirmed for release with the upcoming G.I. His nastiness continued on in the hour long Resolute feature, as he racked up an impressive body count with his gun and his blade.Īlthough not Resolute themed in packaging, the Rise of Cobra “City Strike” Snake Eyes made his appearance in Wave 5 of 2009, much to the joy of G.I. Joe bad ass, the silent ninja commando Snake Eyes immediately caught the eye of Joe fans and fans in general has he hacked and sliced his way through a squad of hapless Cobra Troopers during the Resolute promotional video seen at JoeCon and SDCC. Joe: Resolute 7-Pack, due in August, 2010Ĭonsummate G.I. UPDATE – Siberian Attack Duke has been confirmed for release with the upcoming G.I. Though it’s not 100% cartoon accurate, there was a fairly decent representation of the Arctic Duke in the Resolute 5-Pack released at the tail end of the 25th Anniversary line. No images were found Duke (Siberian Attack) One of the initial Resolute toys released, Duke appeared in Wave 13 (or 2009 Wave 1) of the G.I. He gets the girl, he kicks the ass, and even the most stalwart Duke haters can’t help but find themselves back in his camp, at least for a little while. Joe pretty boy gains some street cred with a much more bad ass command performance in Resolute, where he is, undoubtedly, the star. I’ve done some legwork in trying to come up with some realistic numbers here, but it’s still merely guesswork. Please keep in mind that the “Toy Likelihood” entry is merely my own opinion, and is based on research, some thought into Hasbro’s release patterns, and cost considerations. I’m creating this page to do a one-by-one breakdown of each character, how they appeared, whether they have a toy, and how likely they are to get one. Of course, nothing is perfect, and Resolute still has the female Dial Tone and the African American Ripcord just to tweak the vintage diehards, but by and large the character cast and appearences were vastly better than we got in The Rise of Cobra. Sure, Duke wore his tactical vest and modern combat attire, but he was in tan and green, dammit! Stalker may have some dreadloks, but at least he’s wearing a green uniform and a beret. ![]() Joe: Resolute was the larger cast of characters, and the stronger influence those those characters received from the vintage days. Probably the biggest thing that fans became infatuated with when it came to G.I. ![]()
